Denmark: From Odense to Copenhagen’s Christmas Markets”

Arrived in Denmark on December 4th, venturing straight to Vivienne’s place in Odense. Snagged a $10 SIM for a month, setting the stage for a seamless journey. The 6th saw a quiet day indoors, heeding the government’s weather advisory. Come December 7th, a cultural feast awaited at Aarhus Museum and Moesgaard Village, with a fascinating glimpse into Grauballe Man’s sacrificial tale for sacrificial killing of 40 year old for better fertility and harvests. Roskilde Museum then provided an opportunity to examine the Viking ships dredged up out of the harbour with a grand finale in Copenhagen without the Tivoli which was skipped due to the bustling crowds.

Then enjoyed the festive atmosphere of Christmas markets and a man on stilts. Departed on the 11th via train, bound for the enchanting cities of Hamburg and Luzern.
